PTI’dan Shoaib Shaheen, IHC’yi NA-47 sonuçlarına karşı hareket ettirdi

İSLAMABAD: Genel seçimlere NA-47 İslamabad-II seçim bölgesinden bağımsız bir aday olarak katılan Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) avukatı Shoaib Shaheen, Cumartesi günü sonuçlara karşı İslamabad Yüksek Mahkemesi’ne (IHC) başvurdu.

Shaheen, 8 Şubat’ta meydana getirilen 2024 genel seçimlerinde 102.502 oy biriktirerek seçim bölgesini perçinleyen Pakistan Müslüman Birliği-Navaz (PML-N) talibi Tarık Fazal Chaudhry’ye yenildi.

Ayrıca Shaheen 86.396 oy alarak ikinci oldu. Bağımsız aday, geri dönen memurun (RO) verdiği sonuçlara mahkemede itiraz etti.

Mahkemede basın mensuplarına konuşan avukat, kendisinin ve Ali Bukhari’nin dilekçe verdiklerini söylemiş oldu. Kayıt ofisinden bugün bir duruşma ayarlamasını talep ettiklerini söylemiş oldu.

“Talep ediyoruz [IHC’s] Baş yargıç davayı derhal dinlemeli. İslamabad’ın tamamı NA-47’nin benim seçim bölgem bulunduğunu biliyor” diyen Shaheen, kendilerinin de Biçim 45’e haiz bulunduğunu ekledi.

“RO’lar [returning officers] baskı yapılıyor” diye ekledi.

Bigün ilkin, PTI’nin NA-128 Lahor talibi ve kıdemli avukat Salman Akram Raja, kendi seçim bölgesinin sonuçlarına itiraz eden bir dilekçe sundu.
